Young Frankenstein Poster

For this project, I was asked to create a poster and a t-shirt for my high school spring musical: Young Frankenstein. I love musicals, so I was very eager to work on this design. My inspiration for this poster came from photos of the Original Broadway set design.

Above are my thumbnail sketches for the design. I went through a lot of ideas before choosing to go with the brain idea.

This is my refined sketch. At the time, I wanted to include a hand and curtains in my final design. However, as I started to create my final design, I realized adding those elements would make the overall look too busy.
